Hold On!

read ( words)

Job was a spiritual man who loved and obeyed God at all times. Yet, God allowed some really terrible things to happen in Jobs life.

Imagine, for a second, if someone came up to you and said, all of your children, and their spouses and children were visiting each other, all in the same house, and the house collapsed and they are all dead. Immediately after this person gives you this horrifying information, another person appears and tells you that all of the money you've invested in the stock market was bad investments and now you are penniless. At the same time, you receive a cell phone call from your boss who tells you that your service is no longer required. As soon as you hang the phone up, you look out the window and see a huge truck backing into your brand new Mercedes and totally destroying it. Before you can turn around, the phone rings again. This time, it's your spouse calling to say that s/he is in love with someone else and will be leaving you, effective immediately.

Can you even imagine that?

I can't even fathom that all happening in one day. If it did, I will have to be honest with you-it would be REAL hard for me to be positive after having a day like that one.

But even though all of these things happened to Job, he still didn't speak badly of God and God ends up blessing Job with three times more than what he had taken away from him.

There will be times in your life when everything seems to be against you. It is at those times when I stand up and shout, "HOLD ON!"

Hold on because it WILL get better.

Hold on because your blessings are coming.

Hold on because although some things may be taken away from you, God can restore them-and then some.

Hold on because there is always tomorrow.

Remember, all things happen for a reason and if you are not able to SEE the reason at the moment when you are losing your job, losing your spouse, losing your home, HOLD ON.

Sooner or later, you WILL be able to understand when that job you were terminated from gives you the free time you need to start your own business, or get hired on a job that allows you to live your life's purpose. When getting rid of that spouse, opens the door to true love and happiness with your soul mate. When you discover that in the attic of the house you lost, was asbestos and would have caused you or the ones you loved ill health.

There is ALWAYS a silver lining. Just HOLD ON. God is ALWAYS with you.
